To wish that there was a smoking weed that didn't smell

Just that really, I like a spliff now and then but don't like smoking it in a cupboard nor outside and bothering my neighbours.

YANBU - given all the efforts put into growing weed, it's not much to ask for a non-smelly type.

YABU - for whatever reason.

I live in a very weed centric area and I hate smelling it all the time - but at the same time I'm pregnant so it's good to know where to avoid walking etc.

But CBD doesn't get you stoned?. Its the TCH that gives the stoned feeling

The best way to avoid the smell is to comply with the law and not take illegal drugs.

exactly. why interfere with the functioning of your brain. keep it in as best condition as possible. it will decline of its own accord anyway, no need to hurry it along. brain cells cannot replace themselves.

Needs to be legalised like Canada.

It’s legal where I live and my husband works on a cannabis grow. Distillate doesn’t smell. I prefer edibles. One thing I would never use is oil, especially seeing how it’s made.

It does jack shit for me. I was in Colorado last summer, the edibles gave me the best sleep! Only zop meds could do that but I can't get either one in this nanny state shithole. I'm getting sick of it. I haven't slept all night. But man, those edibles work. Back in the day, I used to grow my own pot and smoke it and never had sleep problems.

The oil, the oil does jack shit for me. Either edibles or smoking it works like a dream, literally, and NO side effects. But the sadists in this country will never legalise it, supposed to suffer like good little Puritans.

I had to vote YABU. Because whilst it would be great to not have to smell it, the fact is it lingers and doesn't seem to dissipate in the air like traffic fumes or cigarette smoke. I don't enjoy being high off my neighbours weed habit (I've lived in some horrible places in the past) but at least if I can smell it I have the option of going out to prevent that happening. Obviously what I'd prefer is to be able to live in my own home without someone else drugging me. Where I live now is lovely, thankfully. But I think it's a basic to not have to leave your own home and stay outside it for hours to prevent your neighbors making you high. If I couldn't even smell it that would be a problem.

I wish I could move to where it was legal! I'd never be up all night miserable again. Good for all kinds of other conditions, too. I couldn't believe how well it worked and the shop was really helpful. I was sceptical about edibles, because I'd only ever smoked pot in the 90s, but wow, it worked! But you can't get the kind I need here.

The legalizing of it here in 2012 has been a good thing. The quality had improved significantly. It generates a lot of tax revenue for the state. The sale and distribution is regulated by the state and the farms and stores are regularly inspected. I can’t understand why no one has a problem with alcohol being legal but marijuana seems to be the work of the devil.

I can't agree more! Alcohol is often way worse than quality, regulated cannabis. You cannot get sleeping pills, prescribed ones, from doctors here for love or money, they just fob people off with bullshit that doesn't work. Then wonder why people smoke weed.

Loads of people do everyday, likewise prescription drugs that they have obtained illegally etc etc.

I mean, duh, watch Traffic Cops and Police Interceptors, there are plenty of police on motoring duties, why would there not be? And they know when someone's driving under the influence and what - they can tell if a person is drunk, stoned, high or all of these.

Get one of those herbal vapes. Be careful though, you only need about half the amount and it gets you off your head.

Another reason why cannabis needs to be legalised and regulated and taxed the way alcohol is. Good quality weed does not make a person a degenerate .

Could say the same for people who need a coffee or cup of tea everyday to be honest

I don't really agree with weed smoking especially as my neighbours can't even start the day without it. However occasionally I think the odd one would be nice but I wouldn't dream of it due to the awful smell. Bring back resin!

Alcohol should be illegal the way drugs are for the same reasons.
