DD2 (2) just figured out how to turn on the TV using the remote. Winnie the Pooh was showing on Playhouse Disney. Pooh was carrying a shotgun about with him! All the characters were in their PJs and I think they were scared of some monster or other. The gun was carried about for several minutes. It seems rather strange to feature guns in a program aimed at pre schoolers.

(Personally, I hate hate hate the Disney Pooh and would be quite pleased to see him accidentally blow his head off after forgetting the gun was loaded, but that is neither here nor there.)

Mmmm tricky. I've longed to see the episode of Pooh where he tools up and goes on a killing rampage wiping out amongst others, Noddy, the Tombliboos, Macca Pacca and most of Rupert's deeply twee and annoying crew in a blaze of cuddly toy carnage before turning the gun on his own furry little head. Apparently though this is not to be even discussed in front of DS (also 2) so I think DW would agree with you.

that is a very very old episode, my ds (21) had the video when she was tiny, so it does not excuse them showing it now but may expalin why it was made in the first place.

has anyone seen the bob the builder episode when he is wallpapering and he swears, i cant remember if its oh s*t or oh f*k but its really clear.

i have tried lookingon youtube but cant find it, it was a episode where he was wallpapering and everything was going wrong, he then got a roll of paper stuck to his face and the swear word came out.
