To get my hair cut short, really short

I'm 28 and fat. Really very fat. I've hidden behind long hair for about a decade. I'm coming out the other side of a challenging pregnancy followed by PND followed by DH being unemployed and working 2 jobs.

I finally have clothes that I like and look good on me but my hair is a disaster, I dyed it myself about 2 years ago and have been so attached to the length that I've let it grow out and it looks weird. I feel like it's time for a change but I don't want to regret it.

Attached is the style I have my eye on but not the colour.

@tuttifuckinfruity

Love it!

Definitely the right decision.

However, if I were you, I would go shorter next time. Just like the pic.

Well done Smile

I was thinking that myself. It seemed like such a change it seemed a lot shorter at the time. DS is still looking for where the rest of my hair went but likes the little shaved bit.

Agree - go like the picture next time. Much more trendy. Hair grows - so no cut is every a disaster for very long.

Whenever people go short they always go back to their salon a couple of weeks later to go shorter Smile

I bet your hair feels lovely and thick now! (Not that it didn’t look beaut before!)

I like it! Go for it. If you dont like it, remember it's just hair and will grow.
