Am i being unreasonable

My Child was meant to meet up in support bubble the next day when the day before in the morning she had for 2 hours a temperature of 37.4 then child’s temperature completely dropped .
When i suggested to a close friend that I don’t need to mention to other parent unless the child develops temperature again friend threatened she will tell the mother if I don’t (she knows the other parent)
I would cancel if child is ill but if child not ill don’t see why one needs to know as i also don’t consider 37.4 temperature and child had been tested with lft test which was negative .
Am I being unreasonable as i think she shouldn’t have threatened to call other parent that’s not what a friend does ?

It's probably nothing but think about it. What's the worst thing that could have happened when you told the parent so they could make an informed choice? They might have chosen to reschedule so your DD misses out on a fun day. What's the worst thing that could have happened if you didn't tell them and your DD actually does have COVID 19? The bigger risk is to them so let them make the choice.

I'm not the kind of person who would cancel a play date in normal circumstances if there is nothing nasty going around just because the guest has the sniffles. However, every time we caught something nasty from a play date it could have been avoided. I would have rescheduled if the other parent had told me their child had had a slight temperature or a runny nose or rash and there were outbreaks of whatever it was at their nursery or school.
