I actually enjoyed the singing episode but I think that was mainly down to Calliope and her beautiful voice. The Story is now one of my favourite songs, both sung by Sara Ramirez and Brandi Carlisle.

Grey’s has been one of my absolute favourite shows through the years and has made me more emotional than any other show. The hospital shooter episode and the plane crash are just too painful to watch again! I will NEVER get over Lexi 😭😭

But the way Alex Karev left was so so bad. One of the OG characters and he just ups and leaves them all?!?! NOPE.

@TiredSloth I thought Karev’s departure was scandalous but don’t think they could have done any better with the situation. Strange how Justin Chambers had left.

The funny thing is I’m recognising just how much the songs used in Grey’s influenced my music tastes for years after. The way they used Chasing Cars was brilliant.

I miss the old Greys, with Burke, Christina, Derek, McSteamy etc.

I used to like Owen, but the Teddy/ Koracick thing is becoming tiresome to say the least.

The last few seasons have not been as good, and I have no idea why Justin Chambers just upped and left, so weird and I agree scandalous !!

I have been rewatching (currently on S8) and when I put the new season on last night had to explain to DH

Yes, but unfortunately everyone else bloody copied the idea. I think most programmes have had a musical episode? Medical programmes usually involve a brain tumour or near death experience.

Callie can really sing, but I thought Bailey has an amazing voice too. Not as showcased but wow!
