I love GA too and agree that singing episode was completely bonkers.

If I ever get a brain tumour I am hoping that, like Izzy, it means I will have lots of hot hallucinated sex before it's diagnosed.

You have made me remember how much I lusted after Alex Karev for a very intense few months when I binge watched GA night after night. Even I couldn't watch the singing episode though.

I quite like Owen. Sometimes anyway. He’s not the worst

I’ve watched Grey’s Anatomy since it first aired in the UK when I was a teenager, I’ve watched my box sets (and later via streaming) over and over again but I’ve still never seen the musical episode in full. It makes me cringe myself inside out.

@Seriouslymole Alex Karev is very likeable though!

It's the amelia brain tumor storyline that puts me off

I love Greys, I've just finished another rewatch! Completely agree about Derek and Owen being toxic, the first time I watched it I didn't mind them but the more I rewatch it they annoy me with the way they treat people. I hate the singing episodes, they make me so uncomfortable!

I go on and of greys. It’s just for someone reason I can’t like Meredith 😂 I have tried but I can’t even cope with her voice haha

I stopped watching about season 12. It was getting all samey. The first few seasons were brilliant though. I may rewatch on maternity leave and see if I can get past 12.

I had to persevere with the show to get over her awfulness. I eventually found out that she was about 40 in Season One and I think this is why she is so awful because she is desperately trying to act a character who is so much younger than her. And it ain't working

I still can't understand why they cast her.

Anyone else hate Meredith?

I’m on s11 now. I’ve been binge watching it on Prime while I run on the treadmill at home. I hated the musical too OP, I watched about 3 mins of it and had to skip. It was too cringey.

I stopped watching for quite a while after they broke up Callie/Arizona and Jackson/April and then wrote out Arizona and April. My two favourite couples and my two favourite characters. And then had Callie and Jackson together with two of the blandest characters in the whole damn show!

Meredith was a pain in the arse. Should've killed her off in the plane crash and kept lexi.

Meredith should also come with a warning sign. Meet me more than 3 times and you will probably die.

@Chamomileteaplease I’m starting to, s16 and she’s so sanctimonious, I find the whole show quite self righteous I just want a hospital drama not to be beaten over the head with how “woke” they all are.

They changed writers a while back and the whole atmosphere of the show has changed. I'm still watching because of sunk cost fallacy but I've not enjoyed the last few seasons.

I totally agree that everything about it is so woke and really making a song and dance to show it. I'm all for inclusion and representation but they haven't made it look natural.

I can't stand Izzy or her Denny storyline- can't see past how unprofessional it all was and how awful she was. The more times I rewatch earlier episodes, the more irritating I find her as a character- she's so bitchy. Meredith is super dull too and what happened to Bailey? Complete personality switch in later seasons.

I don't actually mind the singing episode, but I've only ever watched the plane crash once- still too traumatised from it!!

I’ve watched up to the end of season 14 a few times but not made it past that.
I’m currently watching season 8 and this time I’m going to try and power through to the end of season 16.

If anyone didn’t know season 17 started (finally) last week on sky.

And I also agree with whoever mentioned Owen’s kissing. He looks like he’s going to swallow his poor scene partner whole.

Meredith I can tolerate, but in RL Ellen complaining about things when she's on 20 million salary per seasons gets my goat a bit.

One I cannot stand is Maggie. Just whines all the time. I still miss Christina and Burke

I loved the first 8 or 9 seasons but then it started getting a little bit ridiculous.

I did love Callies singing as she has a beautiful voice.

I might attempt to finish the other seasons.
