A few of the cast members came from musical backgrounds, didn’t they? I think Sara Ramirez and Chandra Wilson have been in Broadway musicals.

It took me ages to get to grips with Meredith lol. I thought she was a massive melt. But I love it and I'm totally hooked now.

I loved the music ep, it was different! But the best musical episode is the once upon a time musical episode. It works because it is Disney at the end of the day.

I used to hate Meredith. I’m kind of ambivalent about her now, she’s strong and flawed. I quite like Maggie and Amelia although Amelia can be a bit cringe.

Cristina was my all-time favourite though.

I'm team Meredith- and in the early series, the chemistry with McDreamy is electric. And Sloane- what a chest!! Although the sexual harassment is outrageous and really dates the early episodes. Poor George went to soon. Alex needs a few decent story-lines (im on series 12) and of course Christina was the best ever character. Callizona got on my nerves although I loved earlier Callie. And sorry but Bailey and Ben? Really? No chemistry there

Meredith I can tolerate, but in RL Ellen complaining about things when she's on 20 million salary per seasons gets my goat a bit.

One I cannot stand is Maggie. Just whines all the time. I still miss Christina and Burke

I watched an interview with Ellen Pompeo (had a quick google and I think it was at the Oxford Union in 2018) and it was all going fine until she was asked about the Me Too movement. She basically said that nothing bad had ever happened to her and women are guilty of using their feminine wiles to get what they want, so young women in Hollywood should be more aware of the signals they give out.

It went down like a lead balloon and the atmosphere in the crowd changed immediately.

I think Christina’s relationships were more fun to watch than MerDer, she was such a confident woman and sure of herself. I love how Preston’s mum eventually admitted being in awe of her too. And I love that she never compromised herself to make her man happy.

Meredith just seems so screechy in the latest season.

I share your hatred of April Kepner. I'm in no way a violent person but she needs a good slap.

Knowing how OTT Burke was about his apartment - minimal and spotless - I loved the episode where he discovers Christine is still renting her apartment despite having moved in with him. He wants to see her apartment so she takes him. His face was a picture when he saw it. It looked like a tornado had hit with clothes and possessions EVERYWHERE. There wasn't even room for him to sit.

Omg I watched this episode yesterday and as much as calliope having a beautiful voice, I had to just skip those parts.

Just watched the alternate universe episode and would much rather watch the singing episode over that rubbish

Why did they hire Ellen for Meredith? So many other actresses that could have done a much better job! There's something about her that stops me from warming to her even though I'm on season 8 now. I never used to like Christina at all especially at the start but now I love Christina, she's literally grown on me and even Karev. I found George O'Malley, Izzie, April, Dr Sloan really really annoying and hard to watch. Callie is meh and Arizona I liked her role as a Doctor.

Owen Hunt at the start I found him really passionate and I loved their love scenes with Christina but overtime he really annoys me right now. Other than that they've all gone around the block a few times and the on call room is like a brothel are they that desperate and horny to not wait to have sex which I found Ott. There was a episode I can't remember which one at the first season literally the world was falling apart and Izzie was just worried about sleeping with Karev to see if he could do it or not.

New season is back on Sky now. Watched the double bill last night. Not overly impressed tbh - felt like it was going through the motions (see the scene with Catherine Fox and Maggie yelling).
Worst character is Catherine Fox - there's literally nothing likeable about her! And Maggie is so dull.
Richard is my favourite - he still gets all the best lines.

@bedroomews I think that episode was called ‘It’s the End of The World’ as a two parter where the guy had a bomb in his stomach. That was actually a good one!

The unexploded bazooka is a brilliant episode, as was the ambulance crash with the nazi. Some of my favourite ever TV episodes come from greys

@snackodactyl oh yes that's the episode when Meredith was holding the bomb but the other interns were sulking because they weren't being useful and Izzie testing out Karev in the on call room made me say wtf 😳 I've been binging it for a few weeks now and it's all muddled up in my brain.

Thats probably the most famous episode ever- I think it won loads of awards- also the bomb blown up guy is hawwwwwt

@Hobbesmanc also ever so hawttt in Friday Night Lights too. i love the episode where he and Denny came back and start squabbling!
