If it helps, my parents are Northern - I was born here but my mother would have a fit if I called her “Mom” I should think, it’s always been “Mum” at home and my DS calls me Mum now too.

Ha ha ha. I took one look at the picture, and don't ask me why but I thought it looked like BC. And the Gorge yet. I lived in a house on the Gorge as a small child!
