UseOfWeapons · 28/03/2021 17:17

No children, but not through choice. Now past It anyway.I don’t think you have that option, OP.
Yes, there are lots of people on MN who are aren’t parents, or mums, through choice or accident. There are board for people who are TCC, who are male, and multiple boards on the other parts to a life. It is to connect with a different community, with excellent Feminism threads, and interesting viewpoints from others all over the world that makes me come back and want to post.

@Shehasadiamondinthesky I got from that article that there's no risk of impact for at least 100 years? Not that it's definitely hitting earth in 100 years.

ZiggyBaby · 28/03/2021 17:34

  • And foster parent, mainly to babies who are withdrawing, have a brain
injury or a complex medical need.
Sausageroll67 · 29/03/2021 00:14

No kids by choice. Feel smug sometimes at the miserable seeming existence of those that do have them.

kittensarecute · 29/03/2021 00:20

No kids and no plans to have any.

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 29/03/2021 00:24

One teenager and one early 20s.

Parenting an adult is much harder than parenting a child.

cigarettesanddisappointment · 29/03/2021 00:36

DS(19) at uni
DD(16) at sixth form
DD(9) in primary school
I'm 38, so I was a very young parent to my first 2 but average-ish for no. 3. A lot of my friendship group (late 30s - mid 40s) have just started having their children recently.
