Where are we all at in life?

I am interested to see often on posts people at different stages of life as as parents, which one are you?

• no kids but ttc

- no kids by choice (not sure if no kids by choice people come on MN!)

• parents of babies and toddlers
• parents of primary school age
• parents of secondary and college age, uni age 18-21
• parents of 20 somethings
• parents of 30 and above
• parents of mixed ages

Probably missed something out but you get the jist.....

Me...parents of teen so secondary, college and uni age

Parent of a sixth former and a university student.

Parent of one 18 month old part toddler, part tornado. About to start TTC number 2 after my second dose of the covid vaccine next month (key worker)

Have I missed something? Is this in mainstream news?

Parents of one teen still at home and also older ones (mid - late 20s) who have all left home.

No kids through choice (haven't completely ruled it out but I don't think so) but have a 17yo stepson.

The 30s has just moved back in with us.
The 20s is the least trouble at the moment but I always expect the unexpected. Nobody tells you about this bit when you have babies!

But yes my 20/30s children will probably not have their own because of not wanting to bring children into this frightening world.

2 dcs both at secondary school. I've been on mumsnet since ds1 was 2.

Will have to change it in September.

Two stepchildren (32, who has a 3 year old now, and 29). One at university of my own. Work part time, but took a small early pension from last last job. Mortgage paid.

Married 4 years no kids by choice, if I had met dh 10 years ago then we would of tried for kids but not in my 40's

I came on mumsnet when I was thinking of starting to try for a baby; mumsnet has made me unsure if I 100% want kids tbh.

Oh dear !!

I have a 20 plus and college age children, plus secondary school children.

I am the peri-menopausal parent of a 25 year old, a 22 year old and an 18 year old.

No kids but hoping to be in a position to start ttc next year. Everyone I went to school with seems to have a baby and I’m so jealous!
