To ask Strike to just get it together with Robin FFS

This is a niche AIBU but I'm fit to burst.

Just get it on FFS.

I didn't think that Robin felt broody exactly around her new niece , just a bit fed up that everyone was signaling' this could have been you , if you hadn't left Matthew' or whatever.
Strike doesn't want children. Not sure this would change much if they did get together to be honest. Although he'd make a good dad.
Maybe they will adopt? That would make a better storyline! Bit different to the whole ' I must have a child now I'm thirty'.
Not sure , but I hope that she doesn't become pregnant accidentally :(

That's very true. I loved the bit about her suggesting to her sister in law that alcoholic breastmilk might make the baby sleep.

I wonder if Rokeby or Prue will be in the next book? Especially as we know that Johnny is now ill. I've a feeling they might feature a lot more. I'd love him to leave Strike a million or two. He must be worth a fair bit despite all the ex's and various children!

I agree. I think Prue and Rokeby will feature more somehow. Maybe Rokeby is murdered and Prue and Al hire Strike to investigate and he learns about his father that way. Actually that's too formulaic, scrap that.

I didn't watch moonlighting but I heard it went downhill once they got together.
I bet Rokeby gets him to investigate something for him. He sent him the blood hound card and seems interested in him now his a bit famous.
He'll get Al or Prue involved to get him on board!

I really liked the little glimpse of Pru we saw in TB.

I wonder if she will somehow link to Switch, Leda's son with Whittaker. They would be a similar age and as he was raised by Whittaker's wealthy grandparents it's possible they could have moved in the same circles at some point.

How Leda really died would be closure for Strike I think.
