I’m another one with some grey walls in the house - one grey carpet, half my rooms are white.....I like the neutral tones because I can then use bright colours on everything else - bright photo frames, blankets, bedding, kitchen items etc. I have no doubt it will go out of fashion in 5 years but I didn’t do it for fashion! My kitchen would have been considered modern and up to date ten years ago when it was installed. Now with its magnolia cupboards and square patchwork tiles it looks retro. Everything does out of fashion eventually.
Remember good old Olive bathrooms? My grandad had his till he passed always
It has kind of turned into a “what we all hate” thread in some respects but what people are saying, they don’t necessarily dislike.
I never follow fashion for clothes so I don’t give a damn if skinny jeans become cringey. They’re comfy and suit me.
SM will never vanish but I think a lot of people will
look back at themselves on it, laugh at the fashion, the tends, the “in” haircuts, the quotes and the over sharing and be embarrassed. I am! I CBA to go back and delete it all but I do sometimes think what the hell was I doing posting that?!?
