Aibu to put dog dishes in dishwasher

This is my first post so I hope I’ve put it in the right place. So. Like everyone else, I have got a lockdown puppy. Am a first time dog owner and have been super lucky as it’s been just great, especially for the children. However am not a mad doggy person and would never let it lick my face or whatever. But I find myself putting dog’s empty plate in dishwasher at night with the human plates. Dog has separate dish - does not eat off human plates and is obviously wormed and flead etc. Genuine question - Is this normal (reasonable) or totally (unreasonable) gross? I fear lockdown has robbed me of normal social skills and this may be the first step to totally savagery .

I think dog food is required to be made with human quality ingredients anyway, so can't see the issue with putting dog dishes in the dishwasher.

@MsVestibule

Well I do, but our also dog licks the plates before the dishwasher goes on, which a lot of people think is absolutely rank, so I might not be the best person to take advice from.
Doggy pre wash happens here too, and his bowls/kong etc goes in. It's fine, the dishwasher is plenty hot enough!
