2 months postpartum and extreme leg pain

Sorry, I am posting for traffic as I am desperate.
I had my baby 2 months ago via C-section, things have mostly been fine, had a little infection in my wound but that cleared up with antibiotics. I had 6 weeks worth of blood thinning injections after.
On Saturday I started to get a niggle in the back of my knee which caused me to limp- since then it had just got progressively worse. I have not fallen or injured myself.
Now I cannot straighten my knee or weight bare on my leg at all. From mid way on my thigh down to the arch of my foot is just permanently agony. Especially on the front of my shin where there is a bruise, this may just be a coincidence.
Painkillers don’t help, I am a mess and sob hysterically in pain most of the time.
My mum convinced me to go to A&E, my thigh and back of my back of knee were scanned and there are no blood clot. It was left as to see GP in 2 weeks if it’s still bad.
The area maybe a tiny bit swollen but is not red. It just permanently throbs. I’ve never felt pain like it and it’s just getting worse.
I don’t know what to do, I can’t live like this. The only stronger painkiller I can have hasn’t helped. I have to crawl around - luckily we are staying with my parents ATM otherwise looking after my baby would be impossible. I have a niggle in the back of my other knee now and worried it will do down the same route.
Has anyone ever had anything similar or have any suggestions what I can go to make it better? I have been active with daily walks up until the pain started.
I am not aware of any strange PP tendon/ligament conditions. I’m stumped.
If you are still reading thank you x

I don't have experience but this really sounds like a blood clot, so I'm surprised the scan showed nothing. I think I'd be going back to A&E in case a clot was elsewhere / smaller and is now more prominent.

Have a telephone appointment first thing tomorrow with GP.
I’m sat in bed feeding by baby after trying to get comfortable for 2 hrs.
I’m in fucking agony. I can’t so this anymore. Surely this has to be something more than ligament damage.

You poor thing. I would also be worried about a clot so try to get your gp to see you in person tomorrow.
Could it be a trapped nerve or sciatica?

Birdslovesinging · 19/03/2021 00:27

Can you massage it or would that be too painful?

I had this pain and it was a blood clot. I had a sun burn like rash and my leg is still bigger 10 years later. Pain was like a dull bone ache and I couldn't put my heel on the floor.

If you feel breathless or have chest pain go to a&e.

Ligaments etc soften so you can give birth and take months to get back to normal. You might well have damaged tissue Definitely go back for further investigation.
