AIBU to want to go to the Lake District in April

Soooo I’ll probably get slated for this.....but..... I’m in Scotland and we’ve had a cottage booked for 23rd April for 3 nights(been booked for ages) been holding of to see how things were going with lockdown.
Today Nicola Sturgeon announced that as from 26th April we could resume travel in and out of Scotland.
I’m keen to just go but my husband is a bit wary. What would you do?
Just go or cancel it☹️

They might cancel it anyway if you’re not allowed to leave Scotland. I live in Wales and from the 27th the holiday firms/caravans/cottages etc are only allowed to let Welsh people in as the borders are still closed so they’ve had to contact any non Welsh address to cancel it.

I’d go screw it. I’m in the uk and I’ve booked the same dates in the lakes. If it’s self catering I’d go . Have a lovely holiday I know I will :)

I'd just reschedule. England is only opening minimum of 12th April and we need to see what effect schools opening have before they clamp down again. Surely there are loads of lovely places you could go to in Scotland?!
