So one of my best friends of 20 years is getting married next year, she lives in the US but getting married back here in UK. She hasn’t told me but she’s asked her sister and another bf to be her bridesmaids. I wasn’t expecting to be asked, though wasn’t sure if she would have anyone else with her sister.
The friend she has asked she has known for nearly 30 years so get her being asked but she always complains about everything she does! The friend she’s asked very openly doesn’t like her fiancé, she’s quite clear about that and always rude to him. They are constantly falling out and I’m usually the one to listen in and be supportive without getting too involved as I do know my bf will never confront her about her behaviours etc. Every time I now text my friend she’s still complaining about her and what she’s doing, not doing but hasn’t said she’s asked her to be bridesmaid.
Like am I being unreasonable if i say something to her about stop complaining all the time, you chose to have her involved in your wedding so do I have to listen to the rants?! It’s putting me off texting my friend, I’m not worried about not being a bridesmaid but I also don’t want to listen to her complain about someone she did choose?!
