AIBU?

to think this company needs a lesson in environmentally friendliness

Seasons in Style - posh travel company, no idea how they have our address - has just delivered its 2008 brochure. It weighs a ton, is about the same size as my bathroom and was delivered - wait for it - by courier. WTF? We have never used this company and it just seems so bloody wasteful. The upside is I now have free holiday porn to peruse at leisure (so on the loo then). The downside is I get a massive dose of holiday envy at the same time as we could never afford the places it represents.

Ah - must have to put them round each individual word. That's a pain.

Ring them, using 141 first, and tell them not to send again. Ask where they got your details from as well.

Agree with you. I'd probably call them and let them know that simply because they're obviously so environmentally irresponsible, you will be making a point of not booking through them. No need to mention you wouldn't anyway because they're so farkin' expensive!

I love calling companies' customer services and telling them why I'd never use their company (animal testing, environmentally unfriendly, human rights issues - not many I don't boycott! ). And when I get cold called I also tell them that I boycott anyone who cold calls me so you just shot yourself in the foot! It's a small smug satisfaction but you take your pleasure where you can get it!
