A word of warning if anyone is considering buying a hotpoint dishwasher. Less than 2 years later ( guarantee is invalid as not registered within 28 day period) on phoning Hotpoint - they offered to come and fix it for £140, or alternatively sign up to a D & G repair for £120 - which I did as it was cheaper. The engineer came out the same day and said it can be fie=xed - great news, but he couldn't get back for 2 week ( by which time I'm out of my 14 days right to cancel) - well, 3 weeks later, I've still not had that engineer back !!! I asked a local dishwasher to fix it - they said they can't fix Hotpoint as they've been made so they can only be repaired by a Hotpoint engineer ! aargh - this has taken hours, days off work, and still broken dishwasher
