To go round and asks them to keep the noise down?

New neighbours moved in 2 weeks ago. We live in a row of terraces They have a toddler. I'm not a parent so don't know what is reasonable here.
The kid has spent the past two hours screaming and running around (they have solid wood floors) the dad is making al lot of noise too. Sounds like they are having lots of fun. But it is all I can hear. I can't even hear my iPad over it I had to put headphones in.

I just want a quiet afternoon to relax and it's non stop.
Would I be unreasonable to go round and explain how much the noise is travelling? I don't want to be that neighbour. But equally I don't think I could cope with the running and screaming everyday.
