Hi All,

NC in case outing.

In my opinion it was completely reasonable. Everyone I know thought so apart from a few people who didn't but they are mistaken for various reasons I can't get into at the moment (outing). One of these people was person A who is the SIL of my BIL's friend person B (legitimate breeder, no puppy farms), and it wasn't the first time that this had happened to person C, unrelated. Maybe I should just LTB.

I felt that the exclusion was about a personality clash and the teacher has got it in for DS. He is a sweet boy despite being boistrous and a bit of a livewire (NT, but diagnoses welcome). But to be clear they have been parking there every single day at drop off. Engines running. And it's not ever their hedge.

If you think IABU I can add in a few more posts later about my MIL, finances, and a diagram done with a biro that nearly doesn't work.

For clarity we earn £100,000 each and can afford it.

AIBU?
(Only YANBU answers please)

OP posts:

Twice a week at 60degrees. Anything less is just disgusting.
So YANBU.

MrsTophamHat · 14/03/2021 17:07

Sorry, are you honestly asking MUMSNET if a minor graze on a knee is something to be concerned about?

A&E now!!!

Lucienandjean · 14/03/2021 17:07

Could you get a job in the evenings or at the weekend when dh is home? Then you could afford penguin bollards and a Ring doorbell.

And if your dog looked at anyone funny, it's all your fault, you must get the dog rehomed immediately, and NEVER DARE GET ANOTHER ONE. People like you shouldn't be allowed pets.

Yapplepearora · 14/03/2021 17:08

My DH is a shapeshifting interdimensional creature who often disappears into the 6th dimension for years at a time, leaving me to do all of the childcare, work, and housekeeping.

My MIL is Margaret Thatcher and therefore dead, meaning I have nowhere near the support you have OP.

You ungrateful bitch. Least you have a MIL and DH in your life.

Lamby225 · 14/03/2021 17:09

You should get your ducks in a row OP and leave the ungrateful so and so .

BilboBercow · 14/03/2021 17:10

OP why don't you just cancel the cheque?

EatingAllThePies · 14/03/2021 17:13

Hello DM, short of news today?

1forAll74 · 14/03/2021 17:15

Have a chat with Piers Morgan, he is pretty free to interview you now.He seems to be quite adapt at sorting peoples problems out.

scaredsadandstuck · 14/03/2021 17:16

I bet they have a sex pond hot tub.

You need to put the cat on a lead and train it to shit in your toilet. It is totally doable.

Have you tried a sling?

SusannahSophia · 14/03/2021 17:18

I think you’re getting a bit of a hard time on here, OP. I’d say you are being completely reasonable, although I’d prefer to see a diagram before I vote.

Bordois · 14/03/2021 17:26

Oh sweetheart. Nothing else to say but didn't want to read and run. Have a handhold.

Tibtab · 14/03/2021 17:27

Have you done an FRER?

LostWill · 14/03/2021 17:34

This could all be solved if you just trained your hair not to need being washed every day. Or alternatively if you just do a full towel and bed sheet change and wash every day. Shit I forgot what the MN massive say we need to do.

110APiccadilly · 14/03/2021 17:35

Sorry, but that sounds totally normal to me, you can't expect them to sleep through the night until they're at least 18. Have you tried co-sleeping?

JustAGirlFromHoe · 14/03/2021 17:40

Nothing to add, just place marking.

Nobranothanks · 14/03/2021 17:41

You're clearly dealing with a cock lodger. I Know he earns 78bn a year, owns 20 yachts, makes you happy AND bought you Paris but you're worth more than that hun.

Get you're ducks in a row and LTB

trappedsincesundaymorn · 14/03/2021 17:41

You need to get a test and isolate immediately. Don't you know a broken leg is the number 1 symptom, it's been a year ffs.

Pollypudding · 14/03/2021 17:43

Gong against the grain here but I agree with everything every PP has said - YADNBU but YABVVVU HTH

WantChewbaccaForGood · 14/03/2021 17:43

OMG if your SIL lives in St Albans and "secrerly" collects door knockers, I think I know who you are! I'll PM you, hon!

Pollypudding · 14/03/2021 17:44

Gong is clearly a regional variation of *going - how dare you question my upbringing!

DomingoinLittleOakley · 14/03/2021 17:44

Meh - it's not something I could get worked up about OP, are you very young?

I'm going to go against the grain here and say it seems to me that you have a DH problem. I mean, clearly just because he works a 16 hour day saving the world and a 2 hour commute doesn't mean he shouldn't pull his weight 50/50 in the house.

Still, have my first ever Biscuit

Hardbackwriter · 14/03/2021 17:46

@110APiccadilly

Sorry, but that sounds totally normal to me, you can't expect them to sleep through the night until they're at least 18. Have you tried co-sleeping?
Normal?! It sounds much better than average to me - my 185 month old wakes up every 32 seconds in the night but I'd never sleep Train because it's biologically normal and I actually love my children.
SavoyCabbage · 14/03/2021 17:48

Just go to any solicitor and demand your free half hour.

They must give it to you immediately and if they refuse get another solicitor to give you a free half hour to sue the refuser and a third one to get a free half hour about your unpainted hedge.

I also insist on a free half hour at the hairdresser and the cinema.

Nobranothanks · 14/03/2021 17:48

Look, if you're child wants to drink bleach let them. It's called learning and how they develop their immune systems! Never did us any harm.

PFB by any chance?!

SavoyCabbage · 14/03/2021 17:50

@Hardbackwriter I actually love my children.

Are you saying you love your kids more than Peter Andre loves his kids??? ShockShockShockYABU and this is definitely not in the spirit of the site.
