Hi All,

NC in case outing.

In my opinion it was completely reasonable. Everyone I know thought so apart from a few people who didn't but they are mistaken for various reasons I can't get into at the moment (outing). One of these people was person A who is the SIL of my BIL's friend person B (legitimate breeder, no puppy farms), and it wasn't the first time that this had happened to person C, unrelated. Maybe I should just LTB.

I felt that the exclusion was about a personality clash and the teacher has got it in for DS. He is a sweet boy despite being boistrous and a bit of a livewire (NT, but diagnoses welcome). But to be clear they have been parking there every single day at drop off. Engines running. And it's not ever their hedge.

If you think IABU I can add in a few more posts later about my MIL, finances, and a diagram done with a biro that nearly doesn't work.

For clarity we earn £100,000 each and can afford it.

Name-changed because it's outing.

Sorry OP, but I'm afraid that's way too much sugar in a packed lunch for a 16 year old. At that age my DC didn't even know what chocolate was!

Go and give it all a good rinse in zoflora.

I mean, were we ever even in a lockdown?

Nutrigrainygoodness · 14/03/2021 16:49

Think you need a un mumsnetty hug hun Flowers
Are you safe at the moment?

NothingIsWrong · 14/03/2021 16:49

Just report her to her boss. I mean she deserves to lose her job over this right?

Yapplepearora · 14/03/2021 16:49

Have you considered the possibility you might be pregnant, OP?

solittletime · 14/03/2021 16:50

And also, YABVVU for having a toilet brush.

Superstardjs · 14/03/2021 16:52

Ffs, MN is such an echo chamber. Why did you have children with this man??

Nobranothanks · 14/03/2021 16:53

You must go and get tested - this happened to a friend and it turned out to be viral hebridean snork disease. It far more common than people think and it CAN kill. Don't let the Dr fob you off - you simply must get them to perform an amputation there and then as it's the only way to stop it

Nobranothanks · 14/03/2021 16:54

Also, have you checked you're not entitled to UC

wusbanker · 14/03/2021 16:54

How did you not anticipate this happening before you married him?

trappedsincesundaymorn · 14/03/2021 16:55

You left your 17 year old DC alone??? for 10 minutes???? I didn't dare leave mine alone that long until he was 36, any younger is pure neglect.

GladAllOver · 14/03/2021 16:55

You can't do that without a dropped kerb. And anyway the dentist won't take you on at the moment.

Knitterbabe · 14/03/2021 16:56

Breast is best.

Yapplepearora · 14/03/2021 16:57

Why the fuck did you have a DC when you are only earning £100,000 each a year FFS! You can barely support yourselves on that.

And now you’re possibly pregnant again because you’ve been having unprotected sex. I’m astounded by your irresponsibility.

It’s very rare I say this, but your MIL is spot on.

Icecreamsoda99 · 14/03/2021 16:57

It's so tacky to even want a wedding let alone a hen night. By the way no one cares about your wedding including you.

TwoBreakingIntoOne · 14/03/2021 16:58

Make them a cup of tea and a hot meal. Offer them your shed to live in. Provide blankets

VodselForDinner · 14/03/2021 16:59

Are you getting help for your anxiety?

Yapplepearora · 14/03/2021 16:59

@trappedsincesundaymorn

I was thinking the same thing! Completely and utterly irresponsible. My 327 month old is still attached to me at the hip, as they should be at that age.

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 14/03/2021 17:01

This type of thing really boils my piss.
Have my first ever LTB
You need to phone a solicitor first thing in the morning.

purpledagger · 14/03/2021 17:01

You should seek legal advice, get a free 1/2 call with a solicitor.

DustyMaiden · 14/03/2021 17:02

This sort of thing happened in my day, we all survived.

FuglyHouse · 14/03/2021 17:03

I haven't RTFT so I'm going to repeat something someone else said on the second page.

ravenmum · 14/03/2021 17:03

This sort of thing NEVER happened in my day. I blame it on social media.

MeanderingGently · 14/03/2021 17:04

OMG, this thread is amazingly funny, I can't stop laughing, it has cheered up my afternoon.
Seriously though, get a grip...…!

MrsTophamHat · 14/03/2021 17:05

Ok. You need to get your ducks in a row.

Book a spa day and log it with 101. No is a complete sentence.
