Not really an AIBU , need some recommendations. What shows make you lol? Feels like ages since I have watched anything other than drama/detective and fancy a change so please tell me your favourites.

If you have Netflix I really liked Superstore, Shameless US is pretty good (I don't like the UK one) and a few stand ups too - I recommend Michael McIntyre Showman, John Bishop Rollercoaster and Greg Davies Magnificent Beast if you like those kind of things.

I clearly watch far too much tv 🤣

majesticallyawkward · 13/03/2021 19:55

Superstore is great, if you do have Netflix there are some really good comedies like Brooklyn 99, new girl, the office, parks and rec or schitts creek

Alwayswrongneverright · 13/03/2021 19:57

We've just watched upstart crow on BBC iplayer, we loved it

I really like Motherland and the Let Down

riotlady · 13/03/2021 20:03

Motherland is hilarious! DP always asks me what I’m snorting at. In a similar vein, Working Moms on Netflix makes me laugh

Broad City
Parks and Rec
Brooklyn 99

Mysterian · 13/03/2021 20:13

I'm a comedy geek. The 2 programmes that actually make me cry sometimes with laughter are The Show That Goes Wrong and their other stuff, and Taskmaster.

1Morewineplease · 13/03/2021 21:17

Father Ted
Black Books
Shameless
Blackadder
Naked Gun

omg35 · 13/03/2021 21:19

Friday night dinner- bit slapstick but makes me laugh!

singlemummanurse · 13/03/2021 21:42

Better things on bbciplayer love that show, very funny and lots of women empowerment!
Also agree with the goes wrong show, taskmaster.
Hypothetical on Dave is pretty funny, red dwarf always makes me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it. Brooklynn 99, superstore, would I lie to you. Love a good comedy!

PatMustardsBigTool · 13/03/2021 21:48

Semi-detached on iPlayer has been a pleasant surprise for me. Lee Mack in main role.

The Goes Wrong Show makes me cry laughing but comedy is subjective.

Nonbio46 · 13/03/2021 22:40

Parks and Recreation and Two Doors Down are both brilliant.

Love Blackadder. Love anything Greg Davies- reminds me of my other half a bit. Also like Upstart Crow and anything David Mitchell. Like a comforting cup of tea or something, isn’t he?
