This is why the person who has been alleged needs to be brought to light and all the context and the circumstances. Many of the RF will now be under the shadow of it, and it affects everyone even the children of the RF. I wonder at the reasons behind making the statement but not naming the name, what could they hope to achieve, do they not care about the mental health of others who have not made the statements?

Also, agree with other posters that this visit will probably have been planned long ago and that you would have a hard job finding a London state school without a lot of BAME staff.

Ridiculous. They were always going to visit the school, the teacher just so happened to be black. They aren’t racist, I do think other members of the RF are but have no evidence to suggest Kate and William are.

Visits are planned months in advance (security and routes take ages to arrange) and so you’ve actually denied her achievements to make her nothing more than a person of colour for a RF photo op.

You have issues. Maybe a rasicim awareness course would help you. Can't be bothered to read your thread. Get help if all you see is colour of the people in the photo. It is about the work of the school in a pandemic and them having a little boost by a royal visit.

Of all the prominant royals I would think W&K the least likely to be racist, they are young, well informed and very well educated and have the responsiblity of bringing up a future King who will need to be absolutley inclusive - I think the OP is pretty offensive.

Agree with what pretty much everyone else said on this, plus there's some very simplistic thinking in this thread which suggests the world is divided into "racists" and "not racists".

The reality is that there are lots of racist mindsets and ways of thinking in our culture and many if not all of us are affected by these and as a result we probably all make some racist assumptions or say some racist things which we may not even be aware of.

If prince William wants to try and counteract racism my visiting BAME communities and hearing about their experiences then good for him, why should he be accused of "pretending not to be racist"? There are quite a lot of BAME people in London so it's quite likely he will meet BAME people in the line of his work even if he doesn't make a special effort to do so.
