Please help me to rationalise this...

Hello

I’m usually a logical thinker but I can’t seem to rationalise this and I’m feeling, strangely, quite angry and anxious? I’m hoping that you will tell me that I’m over reacting.

Scott Mills is hosting a Lolathon tomorrow in aid of Comic Relief, which at 10pm will include Scott Mills’ first look at a vulva, Naked Attraction style.

To me, this is in poor taste. Already I’ve seen comments where people are laughing at the prospect and commenting ‘hope you’re filming it’ or words to that effect.

For context, I’m a woman in my 40s with children.

I just feel it’s in poor taste. I’m not sure in what context this will be handled but I feel that wheeling out vulvas, ultimately for a laugh is in poor taste.

I didn’t realise I was prudish but this has got to me. Help!

If this is true it’s disgusting.

Scott Mills isn’t the one open to ridicule, it’s the woman and her vulva.

It doesn’t matter if she’s ok with it, women shouldn’t be ok with it.

You need to have been listening to his show to know the context, there was someone on naked attraction who had never seen a vulva before and had phoned into the show and told his story, there’s also been women who haven’t seen a penis who was talking about that.
If you don’t want to listen then you don’t have to but people will find it funny, especially if they have followed the show and know the back story.
