I hve said it before (and I was jumped on) but I stand by it and I will say it again......

Poeple who let their children skate about on heeleys in shops are stupid.

I have seen elderly people be knocked over by heeley wearing children whose parents seem to think their offspring have a god given right to woosh about in the stupid bloody things inside shops, shopping centres etc. I saw one woman having a stand up row with the Tesco security guard because he had the cheek to tell her child not to skate in the store!!!!!!
Stupid shoes, stupid children, stupid parents.

Oh the shoes are fine- if, like the skates the ds's are having for christmas, theya re worn in the agrden or other appropriate areas (with a helmet!). They only become a nuisance when they are allowed to become inappropriate

they're banned in our tesco

tiredemma · 06/11/2007 18:53

My Ds LOVES his. He is very good on them.

When on holiday in cornwall this summer, we saw a young girl on some- followed closely by her mother in a pair!

Thought she was going to fall into the harbour- she was really unsteady.

I would love to whizz around tescos in apir.

i thought they wer called wheelies..

mixed emotions .. would like a shot but pissed of at the unskilled skaters and much cheaper now so must be last season soon..

I'm a lazy cow, so since i've been about 20 weeks i've done all my Tesco shops online

No hassles, and no 'accidental' trolleys banging into my ankles.

In my defence, I have SPD, so apparently shouldn't be pushing trolleys around... hey, any excuse!
