Should a teen with health conditions stay alone in a house with parent with Covid?

Without giving the long back story of abuse, coercive control etc by EX, my teen with epilepsy has recently gone to live with Ex. Ex has now developed Covid. Teen has thankfully tested negative. I called 119 who said teen can come here and self-isolate for 10 days but controlling narc EX insisted he stays there. Teen will now be late back to school (GCSEs) and may not be able to get there next week if EX not well enough to take him. Neither GP nor Social Services helping yet if teen gets ill or temperature etc he is likely to have seizures. EX says I'm overthinking, yet I think teen's health (physical & mental) and education should take priority. Am also worried if EX gets really ill, that it will be quite traumatic for teen, who's had alot to deal with already in life. AIBU to want teen to come here, self-isolate away from Covid and then get back to school for his GCSE assessments?

Just go and get him, I'm assuming a teenager will have a phone so text and say you'll be at the door at X time and he can come out to you, save you getting out the car or being anywhere near your ex, who is a prize twat for insisting on keeping him there.

YANBU to want that but surely it's your teen's decision? How old are they (I'm guessing 15+ if GCSE age)?

What does the DC want to do?

He may end up bringing covid to you.

Thanks for the replies. Teen is 15, both are minimizing situation and saying teen going to get it anyway (which I don't think is true). Teen also not thinking about seizures and who will take care of him if he has one. If I go there, EX likely to call police - has in the past. Teen too afraid to go against his Dad for fear of him abandoning him (has in the past).

I think YABU. Either he already has it, or he hasn't. If he has, bringing it home to you wont help things. If he hasn't caught it in the first few days he's unlikely to catch it now.
