to want to see a doctor (even though no point)

I have endometriosis and this weekend I have had a really really bad flare up.

Pain is only under control with two hour alternating naproxen and co-codomal.

Can only log on because just taken more painkillers.

As its been over 24 hours I know that its 'just ' the endometriosis as if anything else would get worse or better.

Pain so bad can't get out of bed.

I know that there is no point trying to see a doctor, as Sunday would have to be a&e as all they would do is give me the same painkillers I have. Nonetheless it seems wrong to be in this much pain and not see a medical professional

I am so sorry there is nothing that can be done to help right now - do you have anyone who can be with you?

There are other pain relief options on here. Have you tried amitriptyline or TENS? DH uses them with paracetamol to manage his fibro pain (he can't have NSAIDS or codeine), he was in A&E due to abdominal pain last night and they also gave him IV morphine, but it doesn't really help.

Thanks both, after twenty plus years I know that I just need to ride it out. If it gets worse I will have to go get morphine

I hope it gets better soon OP, sending hugs, hot water bottles and crappy TV 🤗
