Sent DH off to buy one of those fantastically large and expensive bottles of Aveda shampoo. Bearing in mind I have brown hair, he came back with a litre of shampoo, chamomile, especially made for BLONDES!!!
AIBU?????

Actually he loves my brown hair which makes it weirder - I asked him if it was perhaps for his mistress!

My best friend had a boyfriend who wrote a song going on about her blue eyes, they were not blue, more grey green! I think she was particularly unamused because she was living with the bloke at the time so it wasn't as if he didn't have chance to check!!

Ah...now I know the real meaning of 'having a blonde moment'. What your DH did .

FWIW my dark-haired DH frequently steals uses my camomile shampoo and it doesn't make any difference to his colour.

Not unreasonable, no.

Unrealistic and optimistic maybe.

Dont worry, nothing to do with whether he wants you to be blonde or not, but maybe he thought it was a blonde thing to do? I mean, send him out on a mission like that? I am sure he just wanted to preempt you sending him on further such errands....

Male focus - you told him Aveda, and big bottle, that's what he got. I sent my DH to do the supermarket shopping the other week, and he came back with exactly what was on the list, none of his usually sweet crap. I commented on this, and he explained that unlike when he's just sauntering around with me and DD, as he was on his own he was On A Mission, and therefore just bought the list. I'm sure that's some sort of interesting insight into the male psyche ...

my eyes are an unusual shade of green and sort of dark blue around the edges, i really like the colour of my eyes - my DP of 15 years!! Still thinks they are blue, even when i say, look at them, are you blind!!!!!
