Uncle Frank is the worst movie character ever.

Just that!

He's a terrible human, I can't think of anyone worse.

The parents are pretty bad too. The mum sounds like a proper psychopath when she sends Kevin to the attic.
Was so disappointed to find she was the voice of Sally in Nightmare before Christmas.

Tottington · 28/02/2021 21:44

They're the absolute world's worst family, all of them! But Uncle Frank is the worst of the worst.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 28/02/2021 21:46

Uncle Frank is a charmless prick. Trying to get his wife to do his low rent cutlery steal on the plane. What a knob. Agree OP.
Also always hated:
Jeffrey in Fresh Prince

The principal in Saved by the Bell
Mrs Doubtfire
Also bad humans IMO .

CoRhona · 28/02/2021 21:46

Do you mean the film with Paul Bettany?!

TheBuffster · 28/02/2021 21:53

Mrs Doubtfire in the book is much worse than the film. A real selfish deadbeat dad.

shivermetimbers77 · 28/02/2021 21:54

Who is Uncle Frank?!

peak2021 · 28/02/2021 22:05

I cannot believe it could be worse than anyone in the Mrs Brown's Boys film.

Tottington · 28/02/2021 22:13

From the Home Alone films.

He's truly awful. A foul, rude, bullying bastard of a human! He shows zero empathy towards his brother and sister in law when they believe their child is missing.

OP posts:
Tottington · 28/02/2021 22:13

I'm not surprised Kevin is a psychopath that enjoys torturing other humans at the age of 8!

felulageller · 28/02/2021 22:21

Renton
Thieving junkie who is responsible for his best friend's awful death.

Tottington · 28/02/2021 22:45

He's far worse than Renton!

OP posts:
BrownEyedGirl80 · 28/02/2021 22:48

Stucky in Pretty Woman.Fucking hate the man.

BLToutanowhere · 28/02/2021 22:52

Don't forget that Renton was also having sex with a schoolgirl.

Check out the "Corridor Crew" video on YouTube about Home Alone where they add realism to the mix. Gory as hell.

Mockolate · 28/02/2021 22:55

YANBU, he's horrible!

@GoodbyePorpoiseSpit

Agree re Uncle Frank, but what did Jeffrey from Fresh Prince do?! Shock

Grandpa Joe in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for me. Sits on his arse all day while the family are feeding him and his tobacco habit. But he feels mighty fine when he can go for a trip around the chocolate factory.

Tottington · 28/02/2021 23:13

Renton was a common or garden heroin addict, he was a villain. Everyone knew he was a scumbag.

Uncle Frank is a family man.

He's an idle manipulative bastard but at least he doesn't verbally abuse Charlie.

I love Uncle Frank Grin Look what you did, you little jerk is one of the greatest lines in cinema.

He’s a tight, miserable bastard though.

bellropes · 28/02/2021 23:17

I thought you meant Hellraiser Uncle Frank. I was going to say that he was absolutely rotten to the core. Literally 😄

Aye, right enough! Oh would you look at that, my legs work again.
Diddledumpling22 · 28/02/2021 23:21

Carrie Bradshaw in all of the films and all of the series.

honeylulu · 28/02/2021 23:25

As a child (and adult) I hated Mary Poppins (the character rather than the film). Vain, bossy, arrogant, supercilious ... worst of all she takes the sweet excited children to visit her uncle and they have a whale of a time having tea on the ceiling. Then when they delightedly refer to it afterwards, she mocks and gaslights them and makes out they are liars. Cunt.

There is a subreddit on Reddit called r/grandpajoehate. I think you might enjoy it Grin

But that’s how she’s written in the novels — strict, extremely vain, self-righteous, continually lecturing, and never acknowledges her magical powers even when the children point them out. In her view, she’s a respectable lady.

Her only redeeming feature is the magic. I think I thought that was interesting when I read the series as a child, because ‘good’ magical characters were generally depicted as endlessly kind and nurturing to children in other series, whereas Mary Poppins is clearly just not very nice. Julie Andrews’ version in the film is much gentler with the children, and less vain.

Read the title. Didn’t even need to google. I’ve been thinking the same since I was 8 years old. ‘Look what you did you little jerk’.
