Where to buy decent kids clothes

Anyone else seem to find it harder to buy decent clothes. I'm talking nice plain tshirts in pastel colours or light colours for girls . A nice pink or light blue or minty green tshirt that is plain no design is a normal length and not cropped not with the constant disney or lol or harry potter character or unicorn or phrases on a decent length shorts that aren't like hotpants . The fluorescent colours makes me think of the 80s colour. Boys tshirtsarw a decent length but the same garish prints or constant gamer or character design with dull. Colours browns blacks navy gray. Where are all the decent clothes that are plain and nicely coloured with a good length.

Gap, H&M do a great basics range, Next always have multi pack t-shirts in various colours & designs. You sometimes get lucky in primark and get nice striped t-shirts.

Sainsbury’s, Next

Next have a lot more selection online than in their shops.

MyGorramShip · 27/02/2021 16:33

H&M and M&S.

Boden!

I echo other posters saying Sainsbury’s, Next etc. I get nearly all of my DS’ clothes from Next clearance online. I buy ahead for his next size up and utilise VIP sales slots and rarely pay full price for any of their clothes. Works really well for me and they have a great selection of kids clothes.

I would definitely say H&M for what you're after. I used to always buy similar plain ones for my oldest in there. Their clothes are always fab and great quality and survives lots of wear and washing!

Matalan is another one along with looking at Morrisons. You can definitely get packs of three tops there and only one of the three will have anything printed on them. Love Morrisons for kids clothes as they're great quality too.

Sainsbury also

Also worth looking on Amazon! They usually tend to have that.

Primark also when that is reopened finally! They pretty much have anything and everything!

Also online in the Next sale! Absolutely amazing!

I always get the bigger sizes and saves an absolute fortune and they always last really well and wash great also.

Uniqlo has super cute kid clothes

M&S and H&M have this kind of thing but you have to look at the right sections.

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 27/02/2021 16:52

Yabu because loads of places sell plain basics.

To present a different perspective, some people would say plain is boring.

Why would girls want pastel colours?

My kids are young but already have their own preferences, they love bright colours, glitter, floppy sequins pictures of dinosaurs and animals etc. Because those things are fun and they are children.

I can't stand children dressed in dull neutrals because their parents want them to look "cool" on Instagram.

So its horses for courses really isnt it.

MuddleMoo · 27/02/2021 16:53

H&M
GAP
Next
Cos has some nice stuff but its spendy

kottbullar · 27/02/2021 17:03

I'm really struggling now mine are in 'older boys' sizes.
They seem to only be able to dress like mini drug dealers or as though they're on a rugby club jolly Hmm

Picklesbaby · 27/02/2021 17:08

H&M for the plain multipacks

Griselda1 · 27/02/2021 18:46

Gap have always been good for basic clothes, there's 20% off your first order at present.

BikeRunSki · 27/02/2021 20:57

Gap have recently introduced a teenage range

boymum9 · 27/02/2021 21:12

Zara or H&M, with H&M only look online really, in stores there's a lot of garish stuff, same with next, you can find some nice stuff online but in-store all quite garish!

Velvian · 27/02/2021 21:31

Next, H&M & M&S for my DC.

I bought DD some plain T shirts from the boys section in Next, as they tend to be better quality and there are quite a few 'feminine' colours
