Probably a boring threat but what’s everyone eating tonight? I’ve ordered a takeaway having a chicken kebab.

OP posts:
Daisy829 · 26/02/2021 21:28

I had fish chips & curry sauce. It was divine. The fish was so tasty.

delilahbucket · 26/02/2021 21:38

We had Thai basil chicken from the new Pinch of Nom. It was delicious. We had a takeaway yesterday as it was ds's birthday and a treat for him.

peboh · 26/02/2021 21:39

DH and I had a 20inch pizza ( I only managed 3 slices 😅) chips, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. With a galaxy bar to share whilst we watch a film tonight.

PatMustardsBigTool · 26/02/2021 22:04

4 slices of cheese on toast - I am VERY pregnant and hungry for cheese. Oh wait. I'm always hungry for cheese, regardless. No regrets. Much better than the mince I was planning.

Scarlettpixie · 26/02/2021 22:08

We had plant chef sausages, mash, kale, mushrooms and onions, cauliflower, mushy peas and gravy!

Stigsmother · 26/02/2021 22:14

Leftover chicken and veg (peas, beans, broccoli) with long grain rice and sweet chilli stir-fry sauce.

cardibach · 26/02/2021 22:17

The Ottolenghi Confit Tandoori Chickpeas which he cooked on Saturday Kitchen Live at the weekend. Easy peasy, cheap and delicious.

windywally · 26/02/2021 22:21

Chinese box for two £10 M&S plus £1 prawn crackers absolutely delicious and great value

snowblower · 26/02/2021 22:24

Mostly crisps & wine. My daughters boyfriend is on his way with McDonald's for us. I knew I liked that kid.

MeadowViews · 26/02/2021 22:48

Roasted parnsnips and carrots with mashed swede, and chickpea 'burgers'. Greek yoghurt and blueberries for pudding.

Trying to be good...

JaceLancs · 26/02/2021 22:51

Homemade bobotie with pink cauliflower and broccoli

Allgirlskidsanddogs · 26/02/2021 22:52

Chicken in a cream sauce, fusilli and it should have been accompanied by steamed broccoli- but there was a problem, it had frozen at the back of the fridge, so the dogs got lucky!

Inastatus · 26/02/2021 22:53

@CharlotteRose90 - chicken kebab here tonight too!

Daisy829 · 26/02/2021 23:07

@snowblower crisps and wine is my fave meal. If I’m feeling particularly healthy I add houmous to dip the crisps into.

Spermysextowel · 26/02/2021 23:35

Fridays are always easy for me. One week it’s steak (Vivera fake steak for elder son), oven chips (Spinach for me instead of chips), mushrooms & tomatoes.
Next Friday it’ll be scampi, chips & peas. The Friday after will be steak etc.
It’s a really small thing, but having 4 nights per month that I don’t have to plan for is a relief.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 27/02/2021 05:28

should go back to sleep - I scanned this in "things I'm watching" and wondered what snowblower crisps were Grin

Crazycakelady17 · 27/02/2021 05:45

I have had the COVID jab headache for two days so not eaten it’s always steak night on Friday for us but couldn’t face it so it was Maccies, the only problem is I now have 8 steaks in the fridge as DH went good shopping after work so it’s either steak tomorrow or freeze the new lot!

ChickenSoupForTheHmm · 27/02/2021 15:13

Hope you are feeling better today cake

I’m thinking what to have today possibly veggie pizza and salad

JaceLancs · 27/02/2021 18:07

Leg of lamb here
With cauliflower cheese, mashed sweet potato, green beans, asparagus, carrots and tenderstem broccoli
Meaty gravy or a red currant jus for those in house who don’t like gravy

MysweetAudrina · 27/02/2021 18:11

Thinking corned beef, cabbage and mash but have no white sauce, suppose I could make some.

AnExcellentWalker · 27/02/2021 18:15

Sardines & salad.

Dontsayfuckorbugger · 27/02/2021 18:16

Fuck all

ClarkeGriffin · 27/02/2021 18:25

We have got a takeaway to reheat tonight, and neither of us are bloody hungry. Grin I was so looking forward to it as well.

needadvice54321 · 27/02/2021 20:38

We had ready meals - pasta and garlic bread. Normally Saturday night is take away night but we had one last night instead

wingsandstrings · 27/02/2021 20:51

Had a BBQ for lunch because it was really sunny and warm - a fun break to the monotony of lockdown weekends in the winter. Because we had a meaty lunch it was a vegetarian tea of crudites, a Higgerty pie, veggie fajitas and salad leaves. Yum! (the yum isn't something I would normally say but it's in defiance of an earlier poster who threatened violence upon anyone saying 'yum' after their post . . . . . if I wanna 'yum' I'm going to 'yum'.)
