What you eating tonight?

Probably a boring threat but what’s everyone eating tonight? I’ve ordered a takeaway having a chicken kebab.

Smoked haddock, jacket potato and baby sweetcorn

I had hummus on toast, some apple pie with icecream, a cup of tea and a packet of wotsits

(I feel migrainy and ill, DC and DH have had normal dinners)

Bonebroth, noodles, chicken, carrot and poached egg.

Love this thread! No one has said they’ve just sniffed a spinach leaf yet 😂 we had tacos and tortilla chips which I don’t actually really like, so I had to drown out the taste with plenty of Booths guacamole, which was really nice! We had our takeaway last night as it was my birthday and we had Thai.

Chinese takeaway:

Special fried rice
Curry sauce
Salt and pepper chicken wings
Beef in black bean sauce
Crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce.

Can't wait!

I feel like odd one out because I had my takeaway earlier in the week so I am just enviously reading here😂

Simple tonight : lambs' liver, mushrooms, onion gravy, JP & whatever greenery looks like needing using.

We've had a pig of a day so just waiting for a dominos delivery

I was going to cook tonight but we got caught up walking on the beach this afternoon and hunting for crabs because it was so bright and sunny, so we got some fish and chips on the walk home

Egg and chips.

I made dates stuffed with goats cheese and wrapped in bacon to use up things that needed eating. They were meant to be in the fridge for snacks/starters but they were so good we ate them all and now we don't want any dinner

Was meant to be tuna steaks, new potatoes, baby corn, green beans & asparagus!

Takeaway pizza. I'm starving!

fish pie with peas, baked apple with sultanas. Now sat with a glass of red watching Corrie.

Shit tonnes of wine and stinky cheese. I don’t even have the energy to think what takeout I would like. Long week.

We had fakeaway. Chicken fried rice with curry sauce. Used mayflower curry powder. Tastes even nicer than our local Chinese.

Had a lovely caprese salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Even DD ate it!

Home made chicken curry and boiled rice, a Crunchie and a pint of lager.

DH had his usual fish and chips at lunchtime and is now toying with an apple.

Just what I needed.

Wholewheat penne arriabatia with tomato salad, rocket and walnuts.

Or for the foodies out there - cold roasted chicken with green leaves, rice and red pepper salad, with a second salad of green leaves, green pepper and apple complimented with some nice dressing. Severed with extra virgin oil humous, luxury coleslaw and a freshly baked French stick with thick salted butter ...!!

I’m not a takeaway person but just been told about a fab tapas place does delivery now so am looking at the menu 😋

Risotto for us. Butternut squash, chilli and extra extra parmesan.

Just a quick cheese, mushroom, and spinach omelette,with some salad, as I have just had a new pan to try out.
