Probably a boring threat but what’s everyone eating tonight? I’ve ordered a takeaway having a chicken kebab.

Gnocchi, roasted butternut squash/sweet potato/garlic, onion, mushrooms and spinach with truffle pesto . It was quite nice.

Sausage , burger and black pudding with chips and beans simple but hit the spot

Fish finger sandwiches. Mayo and crispy gem lettuce. Followed by Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream!

M&S pizza meal deal, then Colin Caterpillar cake leftover from my birthday yesterday.

Payday Chinese. It was yum.

I’ve just defrosted the last of my Xmas pudding & scoffed it!! This was after a Friday late afternoon Teams meeting - where we all made cocktails instead of our normal chat! It was so much fun & the Xmas pud was lovely 🤣

Mexican taco salad bowls. We have the molds to turn a tortilla into a bowl by baking it. We fill them with grilled chicken, guacamole, salsa, lettuce, and onions. And, I almost forgot, black beans.

We sometimes use steak or ground beef/turkey/chicken that I spice up with Mexican spices like cumin and chili.

Here is an awesome recipe for carne asada. Made this last week and it was fantastic, juicy, tender, and flavourful.

Kidney bean and black bean bake with sweet potato wedges.

The beans are baked in veg stock, puree, molasses, soy sauce with mustard and cumin.

It'll be done in 5-10 mins, am looking forward to it

I’ve had fish and chips as payday treat.

We’re having pizza chicken from our award winning butcher! It’s yummy , serving it with kebab style salad and fries

We had Dh's homemade sourdough pizza with salad and sweetcorn.
Coffee and Green and Black's raspberry chocolate now.

Penne pasta with black olives, brocoli, chunky vegetable jar sauce

And then I had some dairy free Ben and Jerry's.

Chilli and wedges

We had our favourite ever recipe for vegetable lasagne (with salad). Definitely the best, I've not used a different recipe since.

Sweet potato wrap with 3 bean chilli and mozzarella cheese with a side of red wine and a handful if vitamins for dessert. Roll on cheat day tommorow

I had a very nice homemade chicken casserole. Later on I had a cup of tea and a square of Lindt Mint chocolate.

I’m feeling quite jealous of some of these lovely dinners. I’m generally exhausted by Friday evening, Dh is at work, the kids had a hot dinner at school, so they did their own sandwich so I’ve had cheesy chips, then Popcorn and dolly mixtures for pudding.

Tandoori chicken with my homemade paste from my mum’s home recipe (fondly remembers home..... wants to get on a plane to go visit them again)..... and pilau rice - was beautiful!
