I've had a copper coil for 3 years, a few months ago I had spotting in between so in December I was sent for a scan to check all was ok, and it was fine, I also had a smear and a check to see my coil was in place, as ever since I've had it I can't feel the stings.
I then had my period 21st jan and then I was due 18th feb, so I'm a week late, I had cramps and feeling like it was going to start on and off since just before I was due. But nothing so I did a pregnancies test yesterday abs today both are bfn. I've also had dark brown spotting for over a week say 8 times out of 10 when I wipe. Today I've been feeling nauseous. I'm terrified I don't want to be pregnant I already have 4dc.
Before I had dd when we were tttc my pregnancy test kept coming back bfn until a couple of weeks, I don't have any symptoms and then at 9 weeks went on to miscarry. That's the only time I didn't test positive right away, with all my other pregnancies I tested early with a bfp.
Anyone had any experience of this? I don't even know if I'm pregnant or miscarrying ? I spoke to gp today who said wait for 1 weeks and I said no then they said wait for a week, they can't do a blood test to check for pregnancy. But they did say I con go in the morning to get a nurse to check mu coil is in place, which I am going.
And all this happens after my internal scans at hospital on December, could the internal scans have moved the coil out of place?
