well, he got up this morning with ds - i do sat morning, he does sunday. Then went out to his conservation thingy at 10. so far so good.

it was meant to stop at 12.30. he comes home at 2, to eat, then goes out again at 3 until 4.30.

I asked for a couple of hours off today so I can adjust some clothes - I am generally too knackered by evening to be doing with sewing. well, that finally happens at 6, then at half 6 he asks for my help getting ds ready for bed. ds has all creams he needs doing, so i do help.

Then dh buggers off to his pc to sort out his photos. I asked for him to load the dishwasher, as I cooked a sunday lunch for us all. oh no he is too tired to do that. or to help tidy up.

so I am going to unload the washing machine, chuck his wet clothes outside and hang up mine and ds's. then I am going to smoke his last fag.

Join the club m'dear....men just cannot cope with doing too much for the DC's and then WE end up feeling guilty when they complain and ask for help....they also don't do it willingly either...its a gruff yeh, ok I'll do it as if by asking them, you are announcing an intention to do a shit on the floor or something.....

threads like this make me so grateful for DP, he is constantly knackered but he always helps (well when i say help i mean do his share as i dont consider it helping its his job too). Personally, i leave the washing up til the morning and shut the kitchen door, cos i am too knackered to be loading dishwasher after DD has gone to bed i dont expect him to do it either. He would if i asked, sometimes he will do it in the morning for me if he has time before he starts work.

I should say too that i would be more pissed off with him buggering off for most of the day, Sunday should be a family day

sunday must be a the national 'DHs lazy day' as I had the same problem (and row) and so had most of my friends. I am currently on strike! I frankly have had enough of opinions such as 'this is my week-end'!!!

my dh is paranoid i am posting on here about him, as he is right too but i wont bore you with his awfulness, you would think i was crazy for staying with him

well, he finally dragged himself off the pc last night to smoke his last fag, and it was gone . but he had a secret last fag I didn't know about
then he tried to join me on the settee, so I buggered off onto mn
it was really the buggering off all day when it should be a family day that got to me too. he's not normally this bad, but I just needed to vent. it was refusing to load the dishwasher that tipped me over the edge..
so this morning he complained he had no clean jeans, and they arent in the wash either.
no, that's because they are damp laying in the back garden. . i have hung them up now, but hopefully they will smell funny
