To think it's impossible to have clothes that are practical and fashionable?

I have a toddler and a newborn, and I feel like I look a mess the majority of the time. I'm trying to make an effort with hair (as in, find time to wash and brush it) and face (again, mainly wash and moisturise it!). But I don't know what to wear now that I'm out of maternity wear. I need to be practical - warm, COMFORTABLE, and able to be up and down off the floor... But I want to look nice. What can I wear? What's even fashionable for a mid-30s woman with two kids?! I'd love to feel like my husband could look at me and actually fancy me, but at the minute I never do!

Do comfortable, practical, nice clothes exist?

I wear mid-length dresses and tights with little ankle boots/knee high boots quite often.

At the moment the one I am wearing is jersey material so it doesn't need ironing and doesn't crease. I also can lounge around in it.

I am also a fan of Sansibury's jeggings because I think come in 'short' and I like how they fit.

I'm a decade or so younger than you but because I'm autistic I have sensory problems with a lot of clothes - I pick very judiciously at M&S for plainer things that have vaguely fashionable silhouettes and also places like Monki.

Pleather leggings are warm And comfy. Add a nice fine knit with a nod to whatever suits/a colour that appeals to you. Try and prioritise clean swishy hair, mainly as I think it makes a massive difference to how you feel. Nails? Meh. As long as they're clean you're good to go

We're all our own worst critic OP, I bet you're perfectly lovely.

Jumpsuits! Like wearing pyjamas but look stylish especially with decent hair/jewellery
