DH is turning 40 soon. Really want to do something nice for him. Things have not been good so kind of want to show him I do care. What can I do?

Sorry I have posted under Party thread but might get more responses here

Hire a hot tub for the weekend? Some companies do great set ups which include a cover and lights.

Put together a video of well wishers (family and friends)

Order a meal for pick up from one of your favourite restaurants?

Could you make a photo book? Maybe ask friends and family for a photo and a quote/message/funny memory.

Make his favourite flavour cake and order his favourite takeaway or a meal from a restaurant.

Give him a box of IOUs for after lockdown. Just nice things like 'a meal out' ' a trip to the beach'

You could organise a quiz with family or other couples if he's sociable and would normally like a party.

It's hard to do anything really special at the moment but I think thoughtful and personal is nicer anyway!
