Or indeed Freecycle. I've seen amazing Wanted posts on there. Some of the stuff that we'd all, quite frankly, like but don't have because we can't afford it is assumed to be available just because you say you want it. Cars, expensive white goods, computers, etc.

My local Freecycle seems to be fairly sensible. There are a couple of laptop requests but they always acknowledge that it's a big Want and say that it doesn't have to be a fab one.

DG, I exclude them on a thread-by-thread basis. Mainly so I can be grumpy and report anyone I think is trading but also in case I have something a regular MNer wants or someone's happens to be selling somehing I fancy.

I've just been sad enough to search on that particular poster - all bar 4 threads are ForSale/Wanted's from the last month.
