Time wasters

I ordered McDonald’s earlier but they sent the wrong meals, something I don’t eat and three of them, so I listed them on olio straight away thinking someone else could eat them rather than wasting them and throwing them in the bin. I listed them at 6 and a man messaged me saying he would collect them by 8, then he just didn’t turn up! Messaged him no response.

Aibu to think no the wonder People don’t bother and just chuck things! You even get time wasters when you give things away for free! Just gonna bin them now but in future I won’t bother as there are just way too many time wasters but people could at least let you know they aren’t coming

We had a lovely oak coffee table that had been in our garage as we wanted the space in the living room. When we were getting garage converted, I advertised it a week before for free. Got so many messages every day asking to pick it up... Arranged a different person to collect every day for 4 days and not one came and actually collected. Ended up taking to a furniture charity shop myself in the end.

Its so frustrating when so many different people beg to come and pick up and then don't turn up

Seems so common then! I thought about how much people are struggling at the moment I had quite a few messages but just going to chuck it now as it’s late now. Won’t be bothering again in future. My mum said I was better off giving it to the foxes 😏
