To not know what to do with myself?

I spend my mornings cleaning, home schooling, playing with the kids, going for walks/food shop. I'm quite happy with this routine. I spend my evenings watching tv. Im getting abit bored with this but what else can you do during lockdown.

Its the afternoons between 4pm and 7pm. I'm absolutely bored out of my mind during these hours. I just dont know what to do with myself and I'm starting to wish my life away.

Any ideas or suggestions? Or are you struggling to get through the day like I am?

@grassisjeweled

What are the kids up to at that time?
Entertaining themselves for a couple of hours.

Some online training for a post Covid work opportunity if you're a SAHM?

Oh wow I wish I had this problem, it’s hard to imagine having time to myself in the day! I’d happily put my feet up and read, or do art, or bake. There must be things you enjoy doing? Or are all your hobbies outside the house normally?
I have no hobbies, with 4 kids and a part time job,I never really had the time. I'm still working 3 days a week but I'm just finding the lockdown days really long. I do need to find something for myself and this post has opened my eyes to that. There is literally nothing I do outside of family and work. God how sad is that!?

I also have a real problem with relaxing. I probably should spend some time just chilling but I can't seem to relax during the day. I'm just so bored with everything. But so are alot of people I suppose.

Thanks to everyone who gave me some suggestions. I'll be trying them all.

Part time worker but there are some courses I could do to improve my career. Great suggestion @waterbottle123

Oh op I wish I had that time ☺ as couple of people suggested- knitting, crocheting, baking, reading a book, taking a bath, deep cleaning cupboards, etc

I started learning German on Duolingo when I was in quarantine last March. I’ve carried on with it and can now have very simple conversations with my German friends. It’s fun and you can do as little as five minutes a day, depending on the time available. There are loads of languages to choose from. DH is learning Gaelic.
During our lockdown I did loads of jigsaws, reading and, as it dragged on, I bought an adult painting by numbers kit (I have zero artistic ability, so this was a way to create something vaguely recognisable!). I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was easy to pick up and put down as time allowed and although it’ll never see the light of day again, it was a very relaxing way to pass the time.
DD learned embroidery and bought herself some cheap t shirts etc and decorated them.
It was all very 19th century fun in our house!

@Poptart4 between four kids and work perhaps you have been busy for so long that you’ve forgotten how to relax and enjoy yourself - but sounds like now is your chance :)
