Best exercise to enhance look of weight loss?

Happy Valentines all.

I'm currently doing well losing weight. Over a stone down, but still plenty to go. I'm a size 18.

I'm working out daily.

Joe Wicks 3x a week. Yoga 2-4 times and then an extra cardio on the weekend. Normally a dance workout. Sometimes a jog.

So I'm feeling good. Eating great. And losing weight.

But do any of you know any specific exercises that have really made an extra impact in helping to "show off" the weigh loss?

Or just keep on doing what I'm doing which is all over exercise each time rather than targeting specific areas although Joe tends to have days which are more ab/legs heavy sometimes.

You could try Callanetics or kettlebells, both are said to be very good for body toning.

I’ve just started kettlebell workouts on YouTube by ‘bodyfit by Amy’ and within a short amount of time have noticed I look a lot more toned. I was doing pretty much exactly what you are doing but replaced some of the straight cardio with kettlebell hiit. I got my kettlebell in Decathlon (8kg) x

Definitely weights of some kind.

You need to lift some weights to build muscle that's what gives shape. Kettlebells and dumbbells are all you can really use at home or resistance bands. You could look for online videos using those. You do need to get the form right though.
If gyms were open I'd say get some PT sessions as a reward for your weightloss. Not sure online ones are as good.

I'm doing rowing, which is really helping tone my arms (bingo wings) and shoulders, plus reducing the size of my belly (when I get the technique right).

Plank and crunches will strengthen your abs, giving you better posture, which will make you look better.

Yoga

We've got 8, 10, 12 and recently a 16kg kettlebell at home plus 5kg dumbbells and a few different resistance bands.

The 8kg (upper body stuff) and the 12kg (lower body stuff) are the most useful ones for me I'd say.

As well as kettlebell swings you can do goblet squats, overhead presses etc so they are quite versatile. The bands I find it a bit harder get a decent workout with.

I'd recommend you get an 8 and a 12kg kettlebell but do pay attention to whether you are using it properly and don't try a snatch or anything at first.

Sit ups. Start in sets of three with a rest in between and keep going.
