to think its bad customer service to...

tell a customer at 6pm that you will get back to them within half an hour and at 8pm they are still waiting?

And Ive rang them back but its a busy time according to the automated lady. Plus i was on an 0845 number for 18 minutes before i HAD to put it down

very annoying. I think we make the mistake of expecting good customer service though when the opposite seems the norm.

Have you called them back again to ask what's going on? It's a right pain, I know. I am so used to bad customer service these days that it's what I expect and I'm always totally flabbergasted when people are actually helpful and find myself asking "but why?!..."

iVe called back but i was waiting 18 mins on an expensive line!

I had to put the phone down.

keeping you waiting on 0845 that long is simply outrageous, even if you hadn't already been waiting.

You should name and shame the organisation if its one anyone will have heard of
