Desperately need legal advice in Northern Irish law

Sorry, posting for traffic! Does anyone have knowledge of Northern Irish law, specifically criminal (drink driving) and whether or not the person who was arrested but not on bail etc can go to England for 2-3 days for an urgent family matter? It's random I know but I'm struggling to get an answer. Tried citizens advice, local solicitors etc but no luck on an actual answer. Thanks to anyone who could advise.

Did the person get released from the police station pending report? So not charged yet? It’s been a while since I practiced criminal law but as far as I know, if no conditions were imposed on their release they are free to go to England.

It might be worth phoning the police station just to let them know though.

You should contact your local police or your own solicitor to find out if you are allowed to travel to England.
