I'm only young(ish), 37. My heart rate now is currently between 70-90 and when walking around the house can go up to 110. Is this normal? I used to be quite fit and exercise a couple of times a week before lockdown and I never remember it being this high

@YellowPurple the cardiologist said a low RHR is not unusual (as we’ve seen on this thread!), and if it’s asymptomatic, not generally anything to worry about, sufficient blood is being pumped by the heart.
If heart rate is too slow for sufficient blood to be pumped by the heart then symptoms will emerge, it’s abnormal and needs treatment.

Goes without saying that anyone worried should get checked out.

I’m 31, mine resting is about 64 but regularly goes up to 101 if walking around.
When I was younger (and fitter!) my resting rate was around 45
