To ask when you spill 1cm of red wine from a glass

By the time it has hit the sofa, floor, wall etc it has become like half a pint?

1 cm from the glass and disappeared, but it's taken lots of kitchen roll and damp cloths to clean floor, sofa, wall and skirting.

This doesn't happen with white wine.

Disclaimer this is light hearted, no I don't usually drink on a Wednesday (it's a special occasion), I'm not worried about the amount of wine I won't get to drink Smile

Something similar happens whenever my 9 year old spills her hot chocolate. It's quite remarkable.

Red wine drinkers are the worst - always spill their wine! Every house I've ever owned it's red wine drinkers who make the mess. .........(Though it's possibly just more noticeable damage that what white wine drinkers make........maybe)

I dropped a (glass) pint of milk last week, the amount of time and effort it took to clean it up you’d think it was a gallon

(now) DH managed to get red wine on the ceiling the first time he came to my house Confused

Ha @warmeduppizza please tell how!

Looking for something to do, washed the bedroom skirtings about 2 weeks ago and pulled bed from wall to wash the floorboards (first time in - the shame - a very long time).
That very bloody night, reaching for my glasses, knocked my last 2 inches of wine over. Yep, all over the sparkling skirtings and floor.
Lesson learned. No more skirting/floorboard washing Grin

Heck knows, @Bookwords ... he was nervously trying to take a sip while fretting about impressing me with his table manners and kind of launched the glass into the white wall behind him and up the ceiling.
I’m now used to him being extremely clumsy, especially when trying not to be, but it was a bit of a shocker at a first proper dinner date Grin Wine

Love it!
