Nurses and doctors love to martyr themselves to the no-time-for-a-wee cause it seems. Maybe in Covid ITU situations. But in general of course there is time to just take 2 minutes out.

You need to be drinking far more than you are. Tea isn't hydrating.
Double your water intake.

Tea is hydrating. The idea that anything other than plain water is not hydrating was disproved a long time ago.

I rarely drink just water especially not in winter. If I am cold the last thing I fancy is a cold drink. I do drink quite a lot of tea and am well hydrated.

It’s fine, I sometimes go that long. Also have a bladder of steel. Drink more if you’re concerned though.

You are chronically dehydrated and your body has become used to it so you no longer feel thirsty. Your input should match your output so you don't pee all that much. Its admittedly handy but really not very good for you.
Theres little things like skin effects or hair. Concentration and headaches. Or if it continues long term can cause kidney issues and more likely to have kidney stones.
One of the major issues with ongoing dehydration is chronic constipation. Again, fairly convenient not to go much but stretches and can weaken your bowel. I once had to rush a lady off to theatre with a bowel perforation following years of being chronically constipated.

Tea is hydrating.

We could argue over relative benefits of black tea vs green tea be herbal tea vs fruit infusions vs cordial dilutions vs plain water.

But they’re all hydrating.

You need to drink more. You are not drinking nearly enough. You need to drink more whether or not you are thirsty.
