Is it wrong that I want to leave the house for so long that I don't have to flush another persons shit? (Kids not husbands, he's pretty neat)

Is it wrong that I want to leave the house for at least one of the meals I have to make each day?

Is it wrong that I want to drive to a rural hill and scream until I'm sick (I won't. I'm not close enough. I wouldn't scare any non local livestock)

YANBU.

Though you may want to reconsider driving to the rural hill, don't want to be getting any fines!

I know. I did say after it that I won't as I'm not close enough!

YANBU, but seriously, if your kids are over 2 they can flush the loo themselves!

WitchesNest · 28/01/2021 08:34

I want to run away and not come back til it’s past bedtime and all the kids are asleep. I want to scream and shout and throw stuff because there isn’t fucking 30 seconds where my attention isn’t being demanded by someone, not even through the sodding night. I want to cry because I’m so tired of being a mum and trapped inside and if I trip over one more goddamned toy I’m chucking everything in the bin.

Cling on to sanity, and when that goes just remember that this is a pandemic. The only way to get through it is to survive, however that may be for you Flowers

Hope you're ok. It's relentless isn't it. X

For me it’s if I load the dishwasher one more time and come back to find someone has put yet another plate or cup on top I will genuinely cry. That and make another damn meal. I just want to go out to work and buy myself a nice lunch!

March them straight back and tell them to flush it.

livingthegoodlife · 28/01/2021 12:33

I could have written your post @witchesnest utterly relentless
