Given that we can't expect MPs to have a handle on everything, they do rely on information that is fed to them.

The issue is, how is that filtered?

what things do you mean?

Cummings was much more hawkish on early 'rona controls than BJ, for instance, and much keener on No Deal Brexit than most other advisors. Happy authoritarian I guess.

Things would have been different if he had been sacked after the Barnard Castle visit. It would have been seen as taking observance of Covid 19 restrictions seriously.
