... Where would it be?

Shamelessly posting for wanderlust-ridden traffic!

I've always wanted to go to Thailand.

Did someone say Maui? Is this for a honeymoon??

alecguinnessgenuineclass · 24/01/2021 16:30

Corfu. To a luxury all-inclusive hotel with lots of childcare.

Ticklemynickel · 24/01/2021 16:31

Washington DC now that it's back in safe hands!
Sicily for the trip we planned but thankfully didn't book pre Covid
Trip of a lifetime to Bhutan.

SuperbGorgonzola · 24/01/2021 16:33

Ibiza with no children.

South of France with children.

PurpleWh1teGreen · 24/01/2021 16:34

I actually have a UK break booked for Easter to a nice hotel near a quiet beach. It would be wonderful if it goes ahead. The chances of it happening aren't good though are they?

Right now though I'd take anywhere warm and scenic. With food I don't have to plan, cook or wash up afterwards.

VillaMia · 24/01/2021 16:38

Somewhere warm and comfortable, with a beautiful pool and comfy sun loungers, where I don't have to think about cooking, cleaning or homeschooling....

BlowDryRat · 24/01/2021 16:49

We've got 2 weeks in Costa Rica booked for this summer. The DC don't know about it in case it doesn't happen but I'm really hoping it does. Our backup is a week in St Ives, which looks lovely but isn't quite the same as volcanoes and rainforests.

Sailing in The Bahamas.
Japan.
Road trips: San Fran to Vancouver,
Chicago to Santa Monica, New York to Toronto.
New Zealand.

Lots of catching up to do.

Me!! No, not a honeymoon - just a sun, surf and walking loving holiday, with great beaches, food and weather
GingerFoxInAT0phat · 24/01/2021 17:01

I really want to take the kids to the Super Mario theme park in Japan. God knows when this will be able to happen.

ilovemydogandmrobama2 · 24/01/2021 17:03

My mom is in California, so want/need to visit her. If lockdown was announced tomorrow, this would be the trip. And seeing family in Seattle and NM.

But, would love to go back to Kos. Best holiday ever.

Jigglyjugs · 24/01/2021 17:13

If I could afford anywhere, the list is endless. But for current circumstances, Corfu. I had the best holiday of my life there and I'd love to go again. Beautiful place.

Deereamer · 24/01/2021 17:13

If money was no issue I would go for the Maldives first and Thailand as second choice.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 24/01/2021 17:21

Australia to visit DSis and DN.

Larsingsong · 24/01/2021 17:24

I just want to go on the holidays I've had to cancel.

Lapland (but not for Santa, more Northern Light hunting and snow adventures)

Italy lakes and Croatia tour.

I'd put my heart and soul into those trips.

Larsingsong · 24/01/2021 17:25

Maldives would definitely be on my bucket list.

Was helping DS with his homework this week and learned it could be underwater by 2080.

mygenericusername · 24/01/2021 17:28

I’ll be doing the Antarctica cruise ASAP.

minnimiss · 24/01/2021 17:29

Costa Rica it looks so amazing! I'm longing for sunshine, exploring new places, nice hotels and drinking cocktails on a beach!

newmumwithquestions · 24/01/2021 17:33

I’d take anywhere warm at the moment.
But seeing as I have the choice I choose here: secretbay.dm/overview/#about-secret-bay

Went once years ago. It was every bit as amazing as it looks. I doubt I’ll ever get there again, but I can dream...

SpudsandGravy · 24/01/2021 17:34

Either a scuba-diving holiday on a live-in boat in the Med, or a trip to the States to hike the John Muir Trail :-(

LicketySplat · 24/01/2021 17:40

Ice hotel in Sweden (or is it Norway?)

Japan in Spring

Iceland

Bavaria on a cycling holiday

Bahamas (specifically that place where the pigs swim in the bay)

GintyMcGinty · 24/01/2021 17:42

Jamaica

Trulyatraditionalman · 24/01/2021 17:48

sigh So many amazing places.

For those that have been to Thailand, can any recommend some good places for a rookie to visit? I'm not keen on backpacking - I like my home comforts!

Trulyatraditionalman · 24/01/2021 17:49

So many mentions of the Maldives. Did you know that if you're an Instagram "influencer", you can currently travel there for "work?" WinkHmm

I'm looking at you, Georgia from Love Island

I’d love for us to Disney world in Orlando, I know my little boy would absolutely love it. Regardless of COVID we couldn’t afford to go anyway so it’s just a pipe dream lol
