To be annoyed when people cancel last minute.

I've had tonights halloween party arranged for weeks, I invited a work colleague and she was up for it etc, especially as her dp is working away and she doesn't like being on her own in the house.

She has just rung to cancel making some excuse about it being too late etc (she finishes at 3 and party starts at 4.30.

I've made party bags and the works. I HATE it when people cancel on the day of the party.

It does sound like a bit of an excuse imo, i hate it when people cancel last minute, unless they have a reasonable excuse then it is quite rude. i guess there isnt much point in falling out over it, she may just be having a really bad day.

Lots of last minute cancelling where children are involved imo.

I always suspect women of being pregnant in such scenarios.

Very infuriating....

even more infuriating when they don't cancel and just don't turn up(like my 'friend' last week, can't even say it was the first time she's done it either)
